GEOBAT FLYING SAUCER AVIATION INC.

The goal of GFSA Inc. is to create and market all aspects of the Geobat concept, from toys to full scale aircraft.

Geobat has sparked new interest in an old idea - Saucer Shaped Flight!

The title of the invention on record at the U.S. Patent Office is " Three Wing Circular
Planform Body." The Geobat concept is the first perfectly circular aircraft design capable of being fully acrobatic. Imagine going to an air show and seeing Geobat performing the same acrobatic maneuvers typically associated with conventional aircraft. When you combine VTOL technology with the Geobat concept you now have the first classic flying saucer aircraft design in the history of aviation!!!

Structural integrity:

This is believed to be one of the main advantages to saucer aircraft design. Because the Geobat wings are joined, a unique blend of lifting body and conventional wing technology is created. By altering the shape and size of the cockpit in combination with the shape and size of the wings, numerous configurations and applications are possible, from toys to high speed military stealth aircraft.

Applications

 Toys

  • Kites
  • Gliders (balsa, foam, vacuum formed, etc.).
  • Rubber band powered free flight models.
  • Radio control models (prop and jet versions).

Numerous design configurations are possible for the modeling market. Ex. Various engine and diameter sizes, fueled and electric; different control surface configurations, amphibious versions, ducted fan and/or turbine jet propelled versions, with the ultimate model version having VTOL capabilities.

Water craft

  • Recreational water craft, (similar to jet skies).

Powered by a "torpedo like" propulsional body that is connected to the Geobat wing via a collapsible extension. As higher speeds are achieved the Geobat wing and rider are elevated above the water while the "torpedo like" propulsional body remains in the water. This type of flight requires no licensing, making flight easily accessible to consumers.

  • Flying boats

The vertical stabilizers are converted to pontoons, similar to catamaran hull designs. There are two possibilities utilizing this type of sea craft configuration. One version is a flying aircraft that simply lands and takes off from the water, the other possibility is a heavier version that is designed to utilize the ground effect and fly just above the waters surface.

  • Flying submarines

One or two man flying submarine, similar to the flying boat configuration except it is capable operating below the surface of the water (DOD concept).

 Full Scale Aircraft

The possibilities range from low powered, ultra light kit planes to highly sophisticated, high speed jet versions.

This is a concept painting of a full scale military jet aircraft.
